*Selected clients from current 30+ clients. Yes, I have no time to redesign my own site.
I took on this client in 2008, when the family-owned gift shop wanted a site refresh with PayPal buttons and a few top selling products so they could sell directly online. I pushed them to do much more over the proceeding decade. Managing two successful sites for this client gradually became a full-time job. With only one store when I started, The Giving Tree Gallery had 3 locations and a multi-million dollar online business when I left in summer 2018.
Dedicated site setup and maintenance for stock and custom (since ended) laser cut nautical map art. My involvement in this project was everything from the original concept of the site to bring in additional revenue from an already successful line to final execution. My production tasks involved finding a commercial photographer, graphic designer & custom map manufacter--to online marketing & site maintenance. Under my watch until 2018, this site went from zero to over half a million dollars in sales annually.
I worked with Greene Street (Brand Creation + Design) for a couple of years to provide website consultation & production support for several clients in the luxury and hotel industries, including Couples Resorts. Golden Rock Inn & C Thibault are current clients.
In collaboration with branding firm, Get Taylor’d, I set up three websites for Boston's Coda Restaurant Group (Coda, Salty Pig and SRV), reprogrammed the fourth to make it mobile responsive (Canary Square), and currently handle weekly updates for all four.
This project was a redesign/overhaul of a custom programmed ecommerce site. The products are downloadable digital goods mainly for a niche registered dietitian market. The client requested the unique vintage look for the site.
Acclaimed women's fashion line based on the reinterpretation of the women’s trench coat, Gryphon was started in 2007 by a former Vogue writer and college friend. The Gryphon website held up for 7 years, 15 seasons, and numerous celebrity sightings and press clippings.
Launched in 2011, the main challenge of this ecommerce site was building a custom cushion configurator that calculates the cost of outdoor cushions based on variables such as fabric grade, welt, thickness and overall dimensions.
This project was a site redesign in 2014 and again in 2018. Having a more professional design and crafting content to perform better in organic search results helped encourage more bookings. We also created an online booking form for the customers' and staff’s convenience that also tracked sources for new bookings, before moving to a 3rd party solution. Shear Excellence has expanded from 2 locations in 2014 to 4 in 2018.
This is a collaborative project with a curator extraodinaire business partner that occurs within the freetime that neither one of us has. The initial project was to provide art for a local coffee shop. Our model evolved into exhibiting high caliber affordable works available for sale in alternative spaces and online. The first space, Queen City Grounds, began in late spring 2018. It is a work in progress that I am excited about. We are confronting the age old challenge of how to get people to engage with art in non-traditional gallery and museum spaces. I'm happy to be bridging my expertise in fine art and online marketing & website management in this and future projects.
